Going up?

Last night it was time to go aloft for some masthead upgrades. The first order of business was removing the old wind instrument and lantern. Then a tri-color LED lantern and a new wind instrument was fitted, along with some cables inside the mast. In the process we also discovered a minor drawback of having a quality-built boat. Everything that’s meant to be fastened is sledgehammer proof, leaving our high hanging handyman dangling for two hours.
